Before Massage
- Arrive on time and relaxed
- Avoid heavy meals before the massage
- Drink enough water before your appointment
- Inform the therapist about any health conditions or injuries
- Communicate any discomfort or preferences during the session
- Please wear comfortable clothing. You may keep your underwear on or undress to your comfort level
After Massage
- Drink plenty of water after the massage
- Give your body time to rest and recover
- Mild soreness or tiredness after the massage can be normal
- If you feel any discomfort, inform the therapist
- Follow any additional recommendations provided by the therapist
Contraindications for Massage
- Fever and acute infections
- Infectious and contagious diseases
- Acute inflammatory conditions
- Recent injuries (fractures, sprains, dislocations)
- Thrombosis and inflammation of veins
- Bleeding disorders or active bleeding
- Cancer (unless approved by the treating physician)
- Sepsis or severe systemic infections
- Open wounds, skin damage, or infected skin conditions
- Acute pain of unknown origin
- Uncontrolled cardiovascular diseases or severe heart conditions
- Advanced organ failure (e.g., heart, kidney, or liver failure)
- Under the influence of alcohol or drugs
- Acute psychotic states or conditions preventing cooperation
- Severe weakness, exhaustion, or extreme frailty
